Colleen Nash Becht brightened the Downtown Farmers’ Market of Fort Pierce Saturday, November 15, designing and creating the new Limited Edition Market Bags to be sold for Holiday Gifts and for the Market’s upcoming 12th Anniversary in January 2009. Nash Becht is a local watercolorist who has the wonderful habit of giving back to her community through her art. Focusing on the vivid botanicals that flourish along the Treasure Coast, Nash Becht has won many juried art show awards. She will be donating a special, colorful watercolor for the first of what will be many years of one-of-a kind Fort Pierce Farmers’ Market anniversary bags, to be available in December. Farmers’ market patrons watched the artist at work and were able to purchase prints and cards at the Market. The Market celebrates its 12th Anniversary in January.
